Is it really free?
Yes. Everything downloads, nothing is time-limited, and no account is needed. Pro removes ads and raises the connection and speed limits — it is a ceiling change, not an unlock.
Why is there no 1080p with sound?
YouTube serves 1080p and above as separate video and audio streams, and muxing them needs FFmpeg, which would add tens of megabytes to the APK. The app is honest about it: those formats are labelled as having no sound, and 1080p muxed is offered where it exists.
Do I need to sign in?
No. Guest mode is a full app. Signing in with Google or an email only adds sync of your subscription across devices.
Will it work on my phone?
It needs Android 7.0 or newer. Downloads are written to the folder you choose, so a phone with a small internal storage can point at an SD card instead.
